This OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Office Engineer for our Antioch, California office. The following locations will also be considered: San Francisco and San Jose. Be involved in projects with our PM/CM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. WSP has offices in Antioch, Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento, Roseville, and Stockton.Your ImpactProvide limited office management of a construction management projectReview and update schedules and record drawingsKeep logs of contract documentsTake meeting minutesProcess contractor pay estimatesUpload documents to project's construction management document control siteReview certified payrollPerform engineering submittal review for compliance with contract documentsAnalyze material test reports for contract complianceReview material submittals for contract complianceRespond to Request for Information (RFIs)Perform quantity calculationsExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and proceduresPerform additional responsibilities as required by business needsWho You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a directly related fieldA minimum of 1-3 years of experienceValid California Driver's licenseProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Office Engineering duties on large construction projectsExperience with Labor Compliance and verification of Certified PayrollsCaltrans Office Engineering experienceE.I.T.
