The Project Engineer will be responsible to understand and contribute to the schedule and for supporting the team to maintain the project schedule, cost, and delivery standards. - Prepares project plan, communicates it to the team, and reviews the plan with the Project Manager. - Manages the day-to-day activities within the project taking the lead during design and execution with the local contractors and suppliers resolving problems as they arise. - Communicates all necessary project purchases to the Order Processing Department and provides them with technical assistance for the ordering of project supplies. - Follows-up on-stage approvals with the head quarter and compiles acceptance sheets for each module, as well as final acceptance sheets for the whole project. - Monitors the invoicing on a project and notifies the Finance of all the necessary interim invoices to be issued to the client. - Prepares and submits weekly activity reports and time sheet to the Project Manager. - Prepares and submits monthly project progress reports to the Project Manager. Personal Skills - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Excellent technical report writing skills - Very good command of English (French will be a plus)- Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure and deal with different cultures. Technical Skills - Practical experience in industrial environment. - Up to 7 years of experience in a relevant field within multidisciplinary teams (design, procurement, cost control, construction, installation, testing) Education - Bachelor of Engineering (industrial preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
