Senior Project Engineer

Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring a Senior Project Engineer for a growing manufacturing company in Marysville, WA. This direct-hire role offers long-term career growth.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will plan and design products, design tooling, develop prototypes, and develop & improve manufacturing processes..
A successful Senior Project Engineer will have knowledge of tool design and product fabrication methods. You will also have project management ability, commitment to quality, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards.
The Senior Project Engineer will:

• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speed
• Study production and machine requirements
• Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources
• Optimize production lines, machine operations and network performance
• Plan and execute mechanical designs using CAD and 3D CAD programs.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
• Prepare technical reports, design specification documents, and operational manuals.
• Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations
• Upgrade systems and processes with new technology

Preferred education and experience:

• Technical Degree such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
• 5+ years' experience implementing and improving manufacturing processes
• 7+ years' tooling and product design experience
• SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
