Duties:

Architect and maintain the quality management systems, resolve the issues and support continuous quality improvement. Responsible for institutionalizing Continuous Integration, Deployment and Continuous Delivery as best-practices across all projects and portfolios for keeping application deployable at any point or even pushing main codebase automatically into production whenever new changes are brought into it. Provide assistance or troubleshoot any issues during CI/CD activities. Research and implement new quality tools, technologies, and testing processes. Spearhead automation strategy and integrate software test tools with software build environments. Architect effective software and platform quality and risk control processes. Drive strategy and develop solutions for test environment & data. Maintain awareness of the future of QA practice and pull in industry best practices into the Voya QA practice and drive innovation and streamline overall testing process. Create architectural and technical implementation documents for quality planning and execution, identifying risks and proposing corrective actions. Interact with ITI Leaders, programmers, project managers, technical writers and business leaders to collect all information necessary to design and refine a quality management strategy. Leading offshore teams to deliver quality product. Design standards and procedures to determine software quality and release readiness. Interpret technical and business objectives and challenges. Perform and document the risk analysis. Identify, isolate and track test issues throughout the software development life cycle. Perform automated testing as needed. Support code deployments. Work alongside developers for fixing defects. Develop medium and low priority user stories.

100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, and five (5) years of experience working in a Software Engineering or Development role or related position.

Experience must include utilizing: Selenium and/or Sauce labs for Automation; Version One and/or HPALM for Defect management; Agile methodology; ELM for Project management; OMNI for record keeping; and AMP tool, WAVE and/or NVDA.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$107,970 - $134,960 USD
