Process Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in AWS weld specifications for aerospace and nuclear sectors, driving process improvements and solving complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with AWS weld specifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1).
• Enhance manufacturing processes using knowledge of sheet metal and turret presses.
• Create and maintain detailed work instructions for efficient operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis to address process challenges.
• Perform Gemba walks to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering within aerospace or defense industries.
• Strong knowledge of AWS weld specifications and testing.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and turret press operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive improvement mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
