DescriptionSAIC has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer/SETA to provide direct customer support on a critical development effort. This role will support many aspects of the project life cycle and perform a variety of tasks to include:Review of vendor designs at all phases (design concepts, preliminary designs, detailed designs, testing, etc.)Identify and manage system CONOPS and requirements based on SME stakeholder inputsCommunicate requirements to vendors and assess designs against requirementsDirectly report to multiple customer stakeholders project status, risks, and opportunitiesMonitor integrated project schedulesAssist in the development of project review briefings ahead of critical milestones for presentation at an executive levelProvide timely and precise communication to customer and contractor stakeholders towards effective collaboration in the execution of the projectAct as a self starter who identifies problems and seeks out solutions without detailed guidanceRepresent the customer during witnessing of key test eventsQualificationsMust currently hold a TS/SCI and PolyBachelor's Degree in Engineering fieldMinimum of nine years of relevant engineering experienceStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skillsExperience writing requirements document, test plans, standard operating procedures and other common engineering documentsDesired:Mechanical Engineering Degree or experience as a Mechanical EngineerSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
