About You
You are a rockstar engineer who loves to build complex products and systems from the ground up. You thrive in ambiguous settings and want to be part of a small, fast-paced, and energetic team looking to impact consumer investing.
About the Role
We’re looking for our first founding backend engineer to help us build the best-in-class crypto asset and yield management platform. An ideal candidate has 5 years of software experience building nuanced technical systems and working in shared, collaborative codebases and environments.

- Has built scalable financial, accounting, or transaction-based systems
- Has strong security, relational database, and software design skills
- Can manage infrastructure across dev, staging, and production environments
- Wants to set, maintain, and adhere to great software engineering standards (comments, testing, documentation, high quality review)
- Is just as excited to code and build as they are to architect and design software
- Wants ownership and autonomy in a role that will supercharge your growth both professionally and personally
You will:
- Architect a double-entry crypto transaction ledger
- Integrate crypto wallet architecture into our backend
- Implement portfolio purchases, rebalances, and tax-loss harvesting
- Build billing infrastructure into our core product
- Maintain and manage AWS infrastructure and internal CI/CD
