ITTConnect is seeking an AWS DevOps Lead to fill a permanent role with a client in the Atlanta area. This is a position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the telecommunications space (internet, cable TV, cellular provider).

Job location: Hybrid, at least two days in the office in Sandy Springs, GA and three days at home.

Responsibilities

1. Tech leader for transition of technical knowledge of existing data applications built with AWS services.
2. Define standards & reusable frameworks for application architecture and design.
3. Define Level 2 and 3 monitoring standards and execution methodology for the delivery and operations team.
4. Work with Business for intake of new production deployment functionality, goals to jointly determine monitoring and alerting impacts and recommendations.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

1. Strong Python Programming Backend development and Expert in AWS Services (Lambda, EKS, SQS, SNS, AWS Elastic search, Redis, EC2, etc).
2. Strong Operations knowledge to set up and manage L1, L2 and L3 level monitoring frameworks.
3. Expertise in managing "Event Driven Architecture solutions" with a strong expertise with real-time streaming services like Kafka, Kinesis, etc.
4. Must Have Experience in Big 4 Consulting Companies.
5. Strong Communication Skills and Client Relationship management.

Education

1. A relevant degree such as Bachelor’s or College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Mathematics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Education, or Computer Engineering.
