DDI Technology is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Irmo, SC.
DDI Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IAA, and RB Global, Inc., provides a complete automotive titling and registration suite for financial institutions and dealers dedicated to excellence, DDI continues to focus on superior products, professional and consulting services in the areas of Electronic Liens and Titles.
The Senior Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting new programs, performing maintenance and modifications of programs currently in production to keep them responsive to user needs and to ensure efficient operation in the production environment, and providing support activities for all business areas.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Performs maintenance and modifications of computer programs currently in production
  • Analyzes existing computer program logic to determine the best method of accomplishing required changes
  • Designs software program logic to eliminate problems, accomplish changes, or increase operational efficiency
  • Tests modified computer programs to ensure that changes operate correctly, and changes have no adverse impact on programs or system operations
  • Modifies or expands software coding to accomplish specified processing changes
  • Seeks out training opportunities as appropriate to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance
  • Possesses basic knowledge of software development tools and languages
  • Provides technical support as assigned for all business areas
  • Ensures security, confidentiality, and privacy of information
  • Ensures optimum system performance, response, processing integrity, and availability
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of company products, services, and applicable new product lines as developed
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of software development tools and languages
Additional Information:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience and proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, T-SQL, .NET web application development, C# required
  • Software application design and/or architecture experience
  • Ability to use Visual Studio to independently design and develop a web application using a SQL Server database using provided specifications and have it production-ready with minimal assistance
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced culture, changes in the environment, and shifts in priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 18+ Age Requirement
