Our team operates fully remotely, spread across the continental US. We have a ‘home base’ in San Mateo, CA where we gather semi-regularly in person to build rapport, have fun, and engage in strategic working sessions. We have common interest groups, Donut Dates, peer recognition programs and a Culture Committee to make sure we connect as humans as well as co-workers. We believe in resting, focusing and recharging, which is why we have things like Open PTO and No Meeting Wednesdays.
Job Description
Basic Role Details:
We are seeking an ambitious frontend developer to join the Azibo engineering team. The ideal candidate will be clever, self-motivated, and eager to learn. A high level of execution, professional growth, and collaboration is expected. Come join Azibo and work closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to create game-changing products for the real estate rental marketplace.
Your Impact:
- Ideate on delightful user flows with product and design partners
- Enhance the customer experience by driving the development of significant parts of Azibo’s frontend platform
- Solve current problems and proactively report on potential future issues
- Work with the latest technologies to design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient, and responsive frontend applications
- Implement clear, concise, and tested code
- Diagnose and remediate application issues
- Introduce new tools and practices to elevate the developer experience
- Contribute to peer reviews with thoughtful insights and suggestions
- Collaborate with multiple teams to drive innovative solutions
Qualifications
What we’ll need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science related field and/or 1-3 years of experience
- Proven track record of producing high quality frontend applications
- Aptitude to own a project from ideation to release
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced startup environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your role
- The ability to roll with the punches and be comfortable with ambiguity (we’re a start-up after all!)
