Fogg Filler is seeking a talented CNC Machinist to setup, and operate manual lathes, mills, drill and arbor presses…etc. to produce precision Fogg parts in a timely manner. Reads blueprints and work orders for product specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances. Reads tooling instructions, such as fixtures, feed rates, and determines sequence of operations. Includes modifying, or repairing parts or assemblies, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

• Setup, and operate manual machines. Machine parts to specifications on detail prints provided, or as instructed.
• Set up tooling, work pieces, and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain measuring, and set up tools, which are common to the machinist’s trade.
• Record part set-up and run time through Counterpart when necessary for tracking of time on specific jobs.
• Monitor due dates on the process sheets, and complete all work as scheduled.
• Deliver parts to other departments in the plant as necessary.
• Provide verbal, and written feedback to appropriate members of the manufacturing group.
• Perform work, and cross train on various positions or equipment as required.
• A quality check is required on all parts that you manufacture. This may be an internal or external process.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties daily. Including, but limited to trash, coolant, work area etc.

Who we’re looking for?

• High School diploma preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.
• Must have good manual and verbal dexterity.
• Must be able to work independently.
