ManTech is looking for a early to mid- career Developer who wants to learn new skills and advance their career. The Developer will be trained in DevOps to help deliver automation and big data analytics for the IC community. Our team consists of Software Developers, Systems Development Engineers (DevOps), Network Engineers, and Data Engineers - with this combination of skills, we develop unique software that enables our customer network to safely operate at scale without customer impact.

The Developer will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of the architecture that powers the software products that our team develops - this will include the need for proven systems design and scalability experience.

Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, very detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and has experience working with large scale, enterprise class networks. They have the desire and ability to work closely with their peers and customers in a fast paced, collaborative environment. They will develop best practices and bring both a focus on operational best practice and proactive innovation to the role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deploy and provision AWS resources including: EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, ELB, IAM role/group, Security Group, Cloud Watch, VPC, Route53, Subnets, Routing Tables, Internet Gateways, Certificates, Auto Scaling and Deployment Templates.
  • Build, maintain and, troubleshoot a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process using GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins

Run vulnerability scans, patches and update all cloud/physical infrastructures

  • Build, maintain and, troubleshoot new technology/services/features:
  • Design, build, maintain and troubleshoot the development Kubernetes clusters to avoid disruption to the development team productivity

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years' of experience with front end or full stack development
  • 1+ years' of experience working in AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • 1+ years' experience with Linux or Windows administration
  • Experience leveraging problem-solving skills to solve complicated issues
  • Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Active/Current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other closely related discipline
  • 1+ years Kubernetes/Containers experience
  • AWS Certification(s)
  • Strong desire to learn and grow skillset
  • JavaScript/ECMASCRIPT expertise including but not limited to: Code Stitching and minimization
  • Restful API development and integration
  • Development of data driven front and back-end applications
  • Demonstrated experience developing and deploying automated hardware appliances and infrastructure via orchestration, containerized workloads, PKI Infrastructure, Encryption at rest services
  • Experience in validating file ingestion pipelines to capture and validate source and material
  • Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program's evolution to meet new requirements

Security Clearance Requirement

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
