Job Description

As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will:

  • Conduct technical assessments and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting-edge projects.

Our current requirement allows for a full-time position in Limerick.

Responsibilities include:

  • Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Liaise with suppliers/specialist contractors to ensure equipment is successfully commissioned.
  • Develop and review mechanical design with the project team.
  • Conduct design reviews, validate equipment, and systems.
  • Complete technical submittals, equipment registers, and trackers.
  • Review quality on site by walking down systems to ensure compliance with the project team.

Skills and Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Degree - essential.
  • HVAC Experience - advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of building services preferable.
  • Excellent IT skills required.
  • Experience in Revit would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills .
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team .
