Job Description
As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will:
- Conduct technical assessments and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting-edge projects.
Our current requirement allows for a full-time position in Limerick.
Responsibilities include:
- Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Liaise with suppliers/specialist contractors to ensure equipment is successfully commissioned.
- Develop and review mechanical design with the project team.
- Conduct design reviews, validate equipment, and systems.
- Complete technical submittals, equipment registers, and trackers.
- Review quality on site by walking down systems to ensure compliance with the project team.
Skills and Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Degree - essential.
- HVAC Experience - advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' experience of building services preferable.
- Excellent IT skills required.
- Experience in Revit would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills .
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team .
