Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Secure Network Engineer with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures in highly secured environments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of WiFi networks, advanced networking technologies and a commitment to delivering exceptional solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain solutions for our clients, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Design, deploy, and optimize WLAN solutions to meet client requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct RF surveys to assess and analyze wireless coverage, interference, and signal strength, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Configure and customize NAC solutions to enforce network access policies and ensure security compliance.
- Perform site assessments and provide detailed documentation of WLAN deployments and RF survey findings.
- Troubleshoot WLAN issues, RF interference, and connectivity problems, providing timely resolution and support.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Configure and deploy networking equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and access control systems.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in networking, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into larger network architectures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on secure access technologies.
- Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and SSL/TLS.
- Proficiency in conducting RF surveys using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with various NAC solutions, including configuration, customization, and policy enforcement.
- In-depth knowledge of wireless networking protocols and technologies, including 802.11ac, 802.11ax, and Wi-Fi security standards.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, with a focus on NAC implementation and enforcement.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
