Job Requirements / Description
  • Primary Responsibility: Candidate will be a member of the Network/Security team, providing network design, architecting, and monitoring of various networks.
  • Helping to establish and implement global standards.
  • Assisting with vulnerability assessments and remediation, analysis into potential security related events and incidents.
  • Designs, integrates and operates IT security systems for the protection of the company’s infrastructure.
  • Evaluates new security threats and their potential risk to the company.
  • Report to IT Manager to ensure security and network requirements are identified and followed.
  • Job Scope: Experience configuring, managing and supporting routers and switches of all types and platforms
  • Thorough understanding of the OSI model.
  • Perform network design on a global scale
  • Systematic knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols (e.g. SSL, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.)
  • Detail understanding of QOS and traffic shaping relating to voice, video and other services deemed critical
  • Understands the difference between routed and routing protocols
  • Experienced using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP
  • Understands DMVPN and ADVPN technologies
  • Possess the skillset to configure and manage layer-2 and layer-3 switches manufactured by various vendors (E.g. Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Meraki, Juniper)
  • Advanced level troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve network issues in a methodical manner.
  • Ability to perform patch management to ensure risk are reduce to acceptable level
  • Familiar with WAN optimization technologies
  • Experienced configuring and managing various Firewall types, and VPN technologies (E.g. site-to-site, SSL, IPSEC, etc)
  • Maintain and monitor networks globally
  • Participate in after hour on-call rotation
  • A thorough understanding of Wireless technologies and Wi-Fi systems of all sorts
  • Familiar with security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, COBIT, ITL etc.)
  • Experience with audit compliance (HIPPA, SOX, PCI)
  • Hands-on experience with security incident event monitoring, correlation and investigations.
  • Detailed knowledge of Incident Response Methodology (Evidence acquisition, analysis and reporting)
  • Perform Vulnerability testing on networks and lead team in remediation process.
  • Some experience with different types of desktop operating systems (E.g. Windows, Unix/Linux, Mac) and can apply basic endpoint security principles
  • Experience leading projects and performing project management
  • Has excellent technical writing skills
  • Thorough understanding and ability to create processes and procedures.
  • Capable of providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing (Mentorship)
  • Ability to adapt to a global environment and a team consisting of members from various countries
  • Interface with vendors to assure adequate support and service is achieved and maintained
  • Education/ Experience: Minimum 6 years Network support and/or Security experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Network and/or security certifications
  • CCNA, CCSP, and CCNP are all preferred.
  • Communication: Tailors communication (i.e. content, style and medium) to diverse audiences
  • Reads cues from diverse listeners to assess when and how to change planned communication approach to effectively deliver message
  • Communicates equally effectively with all organizational levels
  • Understands others’ complex or underlying needs, motivations, emotions or concerns and communicates effectively despite the sensitivity of the situation
