Electrical Testing Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Testing Technician to join our global team at G&W Electric. This position involves performing testing preparation and tasks of basic to moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect products prior to testing to ensure conformance to standards
• Inspect testing equipment and test booth/cage for proper operation
• Prepare products for testing by safely making the necessary connections
• Separate non-conforming parts and document actions
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Contribute to team effort by training others in testing tasks as needed
• Inspect all work and ensure it meets requirements prior to passing it on to the next operation

Requirements:

• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment desirable

Physical Demands:

The work is classifed as Medium-Heavy Physical Demand Level by the US Dept of Labor. Physical demands are occasional, frequent, and continuous as defined by the US Dept of Labor.
