Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Salesforce Developer for our client in the Energy domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible conversion to PERM depending on performance)

Role Description: The Salesforce Developer must have at least 5-8+ years of experience.

Essential Functions:

1. Coordinates activities with members of Operating Companies as needed for successful execution of the SalesForce process and to achieve consistent and standard results.
2. Serves as a champion of organizational change.
3. Works directly with Business POC's and independently performs requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and documentation related to the SalesForce.com development.
4. Provides and develops optimized solutions according to Salesforce best practices.
5. Implements new business processes through the applications as requested by the user community and approved by management.
6. Coordinates and supports business Users Reporting needs and provides continuous review and cleansing of data in the applications.
7. Coordinates with business Users to create dashboards with reports that help to manage the work efficiently.
8. Establishes specifications for business requirements, upgrades, and enhancements to improve Salesforce functionality and to improve the Marketing, Sales, and Sales Fulfillment process.
9. Delivers timely, accurate, and actionable business information.
10. Ensures accurate and timely reporting for Business Process Conformance and Performance.
11. Audits field usage and overall system adoption on a regular basis; conducts system maintenance.
12. Trains Sales and Marketing, Sales Fulfillment personnel, and Field Users on all aspects of SalesForce System reports, configuration, and associated business processes, and assists in the analysis of data and recommendations for Eversource Operating Company Business improvements.
13. Remains updated with new Salesforce.com features and functionality providing recommendations for process improvements.
14. Prepares documentation such as technical design documents, unit test documents, deployment documents, and training materials including PowerPoints and Flowcharts.
15. Deploys any changes to production using migration tools.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

1. Good problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application defects, e.g., software and/or configuration bugs including user errors. Individual must possess good communication skills, both oral and written, to instruct SalesForce users on configuration setup/reporting and problem resolution.
2. Good organizational skills, and the ability to deal with multiple and varied System related issues every day.
3. Develop, maintain, create, and improve validation rules, custom workflows, Process builders, Approval Process, Custom metadata types, Custom settings, Page layouts, record types, Field level security, Permission sets, Custom objects, fields, and formulas.
4. Develop bilateral Integration with Work Asset Management and Salesforce for data flow between the systems.
5. Work on writing and debugging efficient SOQL queries of standard and custom objects, and able to understand and develop complex data models.
6. Develop custom Visualforce pages, Apex customizations, buttons, components to meet business requirements.
7. Ability to demonstrate additional computer skills in applications such as Power Point, Word, and Excel are required.
8. Experience in AppExchange products and integration using REST and SOAP is required.
9. Good interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals (peers and superiors) toward goal achievement; ability to modify behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved. The split between System Admin/Developer is 50/50.

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.

Experience:

5 to 8 years of experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

Must have SalesForce Administrator and SalesForce Developer certifications.

Working Conditions:

1. Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required.
2. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses.
