And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.We are looking forA Production Engineer responsible for providing technical leadership and support to ensure that currently defined processes meet or exceed department's target in terms of HSE, Quality, Productivity and CostWe count on you forDay To Day OperationsEstablish and maintain control of process metrics and data such as cycle time, productivity, uptime, yields, etc. to ensure existing processes are in controlProvide direct engineering support to production to ensure that product is running within SOP/PCD and to the desired quality standardsAs required for certain lines or product families utilize tools such as SPC to monitor and take action whenever an out of control condition is identified that is not rectified through SOPs or other standard workEstablish and maintain control of process metrics to ensure processes are in controlPlays lead technical role to ensure that process safety obligations are met include maintaining of safety file, lead/participation in PHAs and MHAs, PCAT, MOCs, PSSR’s etc.Participate in visible safety leadership activitiesProvide technical support and collaborates with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers and production department to respond to all customer issues, quality escapes and other systemic quality issuesMaintain, develop and update all control documents such as SOP’s, MSOP’s, WI’s, recipes, visual Inspection, etc.Maintain and manage metric data such as BOMs, recipes, scrap, yield, and other aspects of product configurationLiaise with project engineers to implement new capital project in production areaCoaches and supports employees in lean and six sigma principles and methodologyEnsure productivity metrics such as uptime and throughput are visible on the shop floor and deviations to standard are being actionedEnsures that the routing of production data is in sync with real running conditions in order that OTIF is maximizedWill be measured via the router effectiveness metricYou will be working in a rewarding role as part of a multicultural team handling unique and complex problems while supplying material to the aerospace communityYou will bringEducation/ ExperienceBachelors of Sciences EngineeringChemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferredWilling to consider new engineering graduates with manufacturing internship experience. 2 - 4 years manufacturing experience preferredLead a team to accomplish significant goals and objectivesSkillsDemonstrated problem solving ability to independently or collaboratively solve a complex problemsDemonstrate resilience in completing projects with significant time and resource constraintsMust be performance and results orientedMust have strong communication skills and be able to influence key stakeholdersYou will get:The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
