Cloud DevOps SME
The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud DevOps Champion, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities and bring them to the enterprise. On our team of experienced professionals, you'll use a broad array of cloud technologies from core networking to the latest AI services to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help protect civilians. You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within a GitOps-based framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
- 8+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues in CI/CD pipeline failures or latency
- 8+ years of experience in working with AWS Linux and troubleshooting and upgrading network configuration in RedHat or Ubuntu
- Experience with consulting and interacting with leadership teams proposing SRE improvements or a solution that meets a new feature requirement
- Experience with solutioning and developing enterprise cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with employing an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach to managing cloud environments, specifically using Terraform, Terragrunt, or Cloudformation
- Experience with creating and improving automation scripts across multiple technical stacks using Python, Bash, and Boto3
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience with DevSecOps or 16+ years of experience with DevSecOps in lieu of degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working with GitOps tools, including Flux or ArgoCD
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
- CKAD or CKA Certification
- AWS Certification, including Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Networking, or Security
- Security Engineering or Cyber Engineering Certification, including Security+

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
