Project Engineer

My client has grown into one of Chicago's best vertically integrated GC/Developer's. With a new downtown office, they only perform work in Chicago. They have a diverse portfolio of interesting projects in mixed-use, multi-family, commercial, and high-rise sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, scheduling, and coordinating assigned technical and engineering projects
• Translating client needs and organizing practical terms into required timelines to be met by the team
• Maintaining cleanliness to ensure health and safety standards on-site
• Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly
• Identifying potential problems with the project, leading the team into developing solutions and ensuring that they are implemented
• Ensuring that all legal requirements are met throughout the project
• Working with third-party contractors to develop viable time scales

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of construction experience
• Commercial, high-rise experience preferred
• Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or related field
• Proficiency in Procore or equivalent project management software

Job Offer:

• $70,000 - $90,000 Base Salary
