QA Automation Engineer

Employment Type: W2

Duration: 4 days, 10 hours per day

Onboard Timing: ASAP

Location: Kansas City, MI or Atlanta, GA or Dallas, Texas

Openings: 8

Key Technology: Tosca automation

Skills Required:

  • Understanding of best QE practices and automation in Software engineering organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5+ years of experience in Automation testing using Java.
  • Experience working on at least three product delivery cycles simultaneously and in multi-application and multiple-platform environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC and STLC in the Agile delivery model.
  • Strong experience with dev-ops tools JIRA and Jenkins.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of test automation trends, technologies, methods, etc.
  • Integration testing experience in complex multi-systems environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Plan, forecast, and present automation solutions to the client.
  • Experience developing design specifications, test plans, and protocols.
  • Experience identifying the relationship of bugs to software code.
  • Experience managing, prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details while meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Working experience on TOSCA is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand best QE practices and automation in Software engineering organizations.
  • Analyze requirements, provide suggestions and improvements.
  • Create and run both manual and automation test cases.
  • Create defects and verify fixes.
  • Setup test infrastructure and test frameworks.
  • Monitor product quality metrics.
  • Apply various testing methodologies and techniques to ensure a high-quality product is delivered.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Developers.
  • Participate in sprint and release planning, requirements grooming, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
