Job Duties

• Develop and enhance in-house software applications or extensions by coding with a technical language to meet business requirements and business objectives.
• Review technical specifications to develop an application or integration of data between applications, testing, and completing appropriate technical documentation.
• Apply best practices in software development and adhere to company development standards, focusing on quality and innovation.
• Deliver support to end users in the organization for specific code, including troubleshooting code.
• Serve in a team leader capacity with large-scale Application Development projects and programs.
• Research and troubleshoot, maintain and configure software, create test scripts and test applications and interfaces.
• Lead the technical portion of projects’ scheduling, and conduct meetings to coordinate activities with the business and other key stakeholders.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products.
• Design and implement architecturally compliant system landscapes.
• Make recommendations to enhance processes, procedures, and policies relating to systems functioning or performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks with timely communication to stakeholders.
• Drive progressive improvements to enhance processes, functionality, etc.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement opportunities for Application Development programs.
• May telecommute but must reside near Dallas, TX office or Miramar, FL headquarters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field; plus 5 years of experience in job offered or software development.
• Knowledge of ABAP, JDA, SDLC, ERP, RDBMS, SAP HANA, PI, Oracle, SQL, XML, HTML, and Informatica MDM.
• Experience in SAP Application Development, Supply Chain Management, and SAP Functional Modules, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and other Finance modules.
