This team of engineers is focused on providing geolocation solutions directly to decision makers and warfighters around the world. They engage with leadership, mission partners, and solution providers to align requirements, resources, and solutions to enhance the Global Geolocation Infrastructure. Information and tools provided by this team are leveraged by the Intelligence Community as well as forward deployed military assets to assess and affect the operational environment. You will learn to navigate organizational constructions, facilitate collaboration, maintain partnerships, develop communication tools, and manage the implementation of ideas from inception to deployment.
Day to Day Tasks:
- Participate in customer engagement and outreach activities working with stakeholders across contract vehicles, agency organizations, the military, foreign partners, and the IC
- Provide reporting to customer, management, engineering leads, and product teams
- Work closely with the customers, product users, and product owners to understand the mission drivers/needs and communicate them to development teams
- Identify dependencies across requirements and customers in multiple organizations for product development as well as collaboration toward a comprehensive customer engagement strategy
- Work with mission stakeholders to define needs/requirements
- Identify milestone dates for deliveries and track delivery timelines
- Work with the Atlassian tool suite to track requirements (JIRA & Confluence)
- Help refine and implement a comprehensive customer engagement strategy
