Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department. Whether you are an experienced professional or an entry-level candidate, this role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, focusing on the design and implementation of HVAC systems for commercial buildings. You will be responsible for HVAC load calculations, air distribution design, and hydronic system design, ensuring compliance with mechanical and energy codes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC load calculations and select equipment for commercial building heating and cooling systems.
• Design air distribution and hydronic systems for HVAC installations.
• Research and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal mechanical and energy codes and standards.
• Produce mechanical specifications for HVAC systems and related designs.
• Use CAD and Revit to generate accurate mechanical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, project engineers, and field staff throughout the design and construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• Recent graduates or candidates with up to 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for building and construction projects are encouraged to apply (compensation will be based on experience).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit is highly preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation is a plus; assistance may be provided to achieve this certification.
