Engineer (General) IV

Parra Consulting Group, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer (General) IV to support our client located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PEO C3T Tactical Network systems.
• Prepare documentation and maintain Configuration item baselines.
• Participate and assist in the coordination of the integrated product team and other technical forums at the PM TN, PEO C3T, and subordinate agency level.
• Coordinate with program, project, and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes.
• Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications.
• Assist in the management, maintenance, and automating of Configuration Management tools.
• Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.
• Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments.
• Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
• Must be capable of participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
• Brings knowledge of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts.
• Has the ability to effectively communicate and lead integrated project team(s).
• Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS in engineering, testing, or related field.
• A minimum of eight (8) year of engineering experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation, and documentation.
• BS can be substituted with an additional 7 years of related experience performing Tactical Network engineering functions and experience with Army organization structure and Unit task organization.
