We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to add to our growing office. We are looking to add a Water Resources Engineer with a background in stream restoration, wetland design, stormwater management, H&H modeling, and construction document production.

Responsibilities:

  • Design work for stormwater management, BMPs, open channels, culverts, erosion and sediment control, and low impact development.
  • Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality analysis and modeling using a variety of software.
  • Perform technical calculations and make recommendations on erosion, drainage, flooding, etc.
  • Conduct watershed and water quality assessments and other aspects of watershed planning.
  • Prepare specifications and construction cost estimates in support of civil and stormwater projects or watershed studies, stormwater masterplans, flood studies, capital improvement projects, etc.
  • Participate in field work, site visits, and data collection as needed.
  • Prepare permit applications and obtain permit approvals from local and state agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably water resources engineering.
  • EIT highly preferred, PE license a plus. Non-licensed candidates will be considered for other roles.
  • Experience using hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc.
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or ArcGIS preferred.
