ABOUT US

We’re a start-up telemedicine company on a fast growth track focusing on weight loss and overall health. The role is remote, although we prefer candidates in the Atlanta area.


PURPOSE AND SCOPE

We are looking for a knowledgeable Senior Graphic Designer who will work closely with the Chief Brand Officer to develop the brand in all aspects: creative, tone, visual identities, logo marks, illustrations, patterns, photography, content planning, social media, partnerships, etc. This individual is ambitious and possesses a positive, can-do mindset. We’d prefer someone with a personal interest and or passion in the overall journey of bettering an individual’s health.


To succeed as a Senior Graphic Designer, the individual will be a highly conceptual creative, self-starter and independent thinker. They will be comfortable multitasking with exceptional communication, project, and time management skills.


The detail-oriented individual will meet with clients and internal departments to discuss and establish project objectives, research current trends and target demographic, and design and troubleshoot the visual aspects of campaigns, from the initial planning states until the end to include planning and directing photography when needed. The Senior Graphic Designer will strike a balance between ambition and a passion for design.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Questions the ordinary and seeks unexpected, original, and innovative design concepts with general direction and collaboration from the Chief Brand Officer.
  2. Collaborates in the creative/concept development of the brand to include campaigns, guidelines, brand partnerships as well as additional areas of growth for the business.
  3. Brings creative concepts to life through bold, exciting, leading-edge design solutions.
  4. Plans and organizes the development and execution of brand design along with visual design elements for all programs.
  5. Is proactive and ensures the delivery of assigned projects to required quality levels, on schedule and within approved budget (if necessary).
  6. Reviews design on assigned projects for compliance with creative quality standards.
  7. Comes prepared and contributes to brainstorms to support all areas of the business along with new development opportunities.
  8. Strong interpersonal, time and project management, presentation, leadership, and communication skills.
  9. Is a visionary that stays current with industry design and trends to inspire the team.
  10. Embodies the role of a brand steward and works closely with the Director of Creative Services, Chief Marketing Officer, and other teams to help direct and execute the brand.
  11. Is a doer yet can also delegate responsibilities to other members of the team and offer direction and mentorship when needed.
  12. Receptive to feedback, constructive criticism, and adaptability.



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Minimum Experience and/or Education – Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 5+ years related experience with demonstrated talent for art direction and brand design and development in an in-house art department, design studio or agency with focus in the healthcare or retail industry. Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Ability to handle deadlines under pressure and adapt to change without notice. Independent self-starter who takes direction and follows through with real ownership on the projects. High level of creativity with exceptional production skills and experience with a keen attention to detail. Photo retouching skills.


Reasoning Ability – Possesses strong critical thinking and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


Special Skills and/or Desirable Qualifications - Moderate copywriting skills. Illustration skills a plus.


Computer Skills – Advanced understanding and both demonstrated and working ability of Adobe Creative Suite with focus in: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Knowledge of Canva. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Powerpoint, Word and Outlook.


Language Skills - Ability to speak effectively to communicate concepts to employees, other teams, and management as needed.
