Systems DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join the cloud and data center infrastructure team with at least 5 years of systems development, deployment, and related operations experience. The candidate must have experience with distributed systems, open source development, agile development methods, CI/CD, and devops.

Job Description

1. Must have experience in one or more of the following subject areas:
1. Virtualization and virtualization management (Openstack, etc)
2. Cloud storage systems (block and object)
3. Networking and SDN
4. Security and AAA in a private cloud
5. Data pipelines and analytics, log collection and analysis
2. Must have extensive experience and excellent expertise in Linux-based high-performance, highly-available systems development.
3. Must have excellent written and communication skills and capable of writing and delivering both presentations and technical papers.
4. Practical experience contributing to an open source project.
5. Practical design, development and deployment experience with evolving existing designs towards large scale deployments.
6. Working knowledge of commonly used tools and frameworks utilized by the open source community.
7. Practical experience with the Go programming language is desired.
8. Practical experience building systems on a public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCE, etc.) is desired.
9. Practical experience building public cloud infrastructure is highly desired.

Qualifications

B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is desired.
