As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment.Responsibilities include:Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company productsOversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipmentKeep current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issuesStudy equipment performance and reliabilityEstablish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing processProvide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizationsDefine and write preventative maintenance schedulesQualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or PhysicsCumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higherPreferred qualifications:Knowledge of AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers equipmentKnowledge of PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuumKnowledge of other equipment (e.g., AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM)Understanding of tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentationStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbility to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationshipsWhy TI?Engineer your future.
