About the Role
EOTSS is seeking a Cloud DevOps Intern to join the EOTSS Cloud DevOps Team. As part of our Cloud DevOps team, you will work with our architects and engineers that deploy and operate IT solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The team implements all foundational services needed to run production-ready AWS environments.
The Cloud DevOps Intern will assist the Architecture Team and the Cloud DevOps Team in maturing the AWS standard operating environment (SOE) as well as performing work such as upgrading Lambda functions, upgrading Python scripts, adjusting AWS tagging, and developing reporting capabilities of AWS RDS backup compliance. This is a great opportunity for an intern to learn about Cloud-based (AWS) infrastructure hosting.
The primary work location for this role will be 200 Arlington Street Chelsea, Massachusetts 02150 . The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST . This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Peer review scripts that are developed by the Architecture Team and the Cloud DevOps Team.
- Document existing solutions deployed in AWS.
- Test and assist in making improvements to newly developed AWS standard operating environment (SOE) solutions by following runbooks developed for each SOE component before it is released to production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic scripting knowledge.
- Preferred scripting languages are Python, JSON, and Powershell.
- Basic familiarity of AWS and AWS core services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Workspaces.
- Fundamental knowledge of enterprise tools and services such as Active Directory, DNS, network routing, and firewalls, SharePoint, GitHub, etc.
- Systems Administration experience with one or both Windows Server and Linux (Amazon Linux and Redhat) a plus.
