Position Overview For The Software Engineer

1. Shape and oversee the technical roadmap by leveraging your expertise to make critical technical choices.
2. Take charge of designing and executing solutions for intricate data challenges, encompassing real-time data processing and live ML decision-making.
3. Foster teamwork and harmonize efforts among diverse internal stakeholders and teams.
4. Ensure adherence to engineering excellence standards, including code quality, maintainability, monitoring, operations, and documentation.
5. Innovate to enhance player experience and unlock data value.

Required Skills For The Software Engineer

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 7+ years of software development experience, with a focus on data/stream systems and live machine learning systems.
3. 4+ years of experience developing large-scale, performant, distributed data solutions on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
4. 4+ years of hands-on experience in complex system design, object-oriented system design, scale, performance tuning in Java or Go, and knowledge of Python.
5. 3+ years of deep hands-on experience in complex event-driven architectures and stream processing in a variety of technologies, with a preference for Kafka.
6. 7+ years of experience with Java or Go.
7. 5+ years of experience with Python.
8. 5+ years of experience with Kafka.
