How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Project Engineer is responsible for on-schedule and on-cost delivery of projects in execution including interfacing with the customer and internal company-wide stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure on-schedule and on-cost delivery of projects while managing project activities during all phases such as Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Production and Final inspection and delivery.
Conduct design review meetings with the internal and external stakeholders.
Actively communicate with customers to fulfill all technical and contractual requirements.
Actively coordinate and mitigate delays and/or cost overruns across the assigned portfolio.
Define project schedules identifying critical activities and work closely across functions to support project reporting requirements (Schedule, Cost, Contracts, NCRs).
Review and coordinate engineering drawing and BOM release.
Are you a MATCH?
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required).
2-5 years of project management/engineering experience in a design-build project environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to relate to technical requirements of customers, listen effectively, persuade and influence decision-makers and solicit input from others.
Ability to quickly build long-term connections with internal and external clients.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to read engineering drawings such as P&IDs, GA (General Arrangement) and electrical schematics.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience in the Turbo Machinery business.
Experience in executing projects in Korea, Russia, Europe, Canada which require certifications such as KOSHA, KCS, GOST, CE/PED.
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $95,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
