Position OverviewInternational has an exciting new opportunity for an CAD Designer – Frames and Assemblies at our headquarters in Lisle, IL. It is an exciting time in the trucking industry with trends toward electrification, autonomy, and connectivity. Future truck designs will be influenced by these trends, and you can be a part of this dynamic phase. The designer will work in International’s Chassis Engineering product development group which is accountable for all design development and system ownership of frame systems across all our commercial vehicles. The systems include frame ladder (long members, cross-members, front end castings, and sheet metal structures, etc.), cab and chassis access steps and step mounting structures, after treatment device covers, battery boxes, fifth wheels, high voltage battery mounting, and fuel tank protective structures for buses.This position is for a Product Development Associate Lead / NX Designer. We are looking for an experienced NX Designer with knowledge of fabrication processes. Designer responsibilities include using CAD software (NX) to create 3D design solutions and drawings of components. Managing the models in Teamcenter and setting up the proper structure along with adding parts to master models to check for clearances and interferences.
