Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Assemble electrical mechanical equipment and other sub-assemblies, testing of powered suspended access equipment and accessories.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Complete the assembly of complex components with little or no supervision. • Complete the assembly of complex components according to measured cycle time. • Complete the fit, function, and testing of assembled components under limited supervision. • Properly utilize required hand tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks according to verbal and written work instructions. • Troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, and test assembled components with limited supervision. • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn a range of assembly methods and tasks. • Perform 5S daily and continuously work to improve the performance of the work cell. • Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned or directed.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Tukwila, Washington.
Work Environment
This position will work on the production floor alongside other manufacturing processes such as welding and metal fabrication. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. The work area is a tight warehouse with forklifts and trucks moving inside and outside. Candidates will work at bench stations with tools and parts around them. They will be required to lift up to 50 lbs. on their own and can expect to bend, reach, and move to get parts. The warehouse is not insulated and is not the brightest lit place.
