Job Title: Project Manager

Job Location: Old Pasadena, CA

Job Status: Full-Time

Job Description / Primary Objective: Project Manager for Civil Engineering and Survey company.

Project Manager needed for a growing team-oriented civil engineering and surveying company. We specialize in tract, single family residential, commercial, and industrial development throughout Southern California.

Qualified candidates should have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in all aspects of engineering design and project management with clients, design teams, and public agencies from concept through construction. Must have strong communication skills and be registered as a Civil Engineer in California, having graduated from a 4-year university. License and/or knowledge of survey and mapping is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Organize, schedule, and supervise a project team over multiple projects.
2. Prepare contract scope & fees and monitor budgets for projects.
3. Experience in grading, drainage, hydrology/hydraulics.
4. Experience in design of street, sewer, water, and storm drain plans.
5. Experience in LID/stormwater management design and calculations.
6. Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D surfaces and points is preferred.

Knowledge of the following is required:

1. California Building Code.
2. ADA accessibility standards.
3. NPDES MS4 requirements.
4. Hydrology and hydraulics.
5. Retaining wall structures.
6. Local agency planning, engineering, map recordation, and construction processes.
7. Los Angeles policies in hillside developments and community plans.
8. QSD/QSP and SWPPP procedures.
9. 2022 CBC.

Project Management (6+ years)
Civil Engineering Industry experience (6+ years)
