Job Description:

Travel Insured International (TII), a Crum & Forster company, is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer for Technology Operations.

As a key component of our Specialty Business Unit, within the Accident & Health division, TII provides travel protection plans to help each individual travel confidently. Travel Insured International seeks an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs, working with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and EF Core. Additionally, familiarity with Azure services, DevOps practices, and both SQL and NoSQL databases is essential.

What you will do for C&F:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, Angular, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and EF Core.
  • Develop and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support various applications.
  • Implement and manage Azure services for cloud-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Utilize DevOps practices to automate deployment and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
  • Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to design and optimize data storage solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
  • Ability to establish responsible deadlines and work plans for self and team members; manages time and prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.
  • Change Champion who effectively manages the implementation of new ideas. Continually defines ways to increase customer satisfaction. Able to readily adapt to shifting priorities, and rapid change due to multiple demands.

What you will bring to C&F:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development.
  • Hands-On experience working in a fully Agile environment, such as SCRUM, and possessing a comprehensive understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Creative problem solver with ability to think abstractly; strong analytic skills.
  • Proven experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and EF Core.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Front-End frameworks React, Angular, leveraging TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based application development.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $78,900.00 to a maximum of $115,700.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
