- Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for an RF Signatures Engineer – Mid-Level in Columbia, MD
- Conduct thorough analysis of computational electromagnetic simulation output to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Produce high-quality numerical models of simulation outputs utilizing team processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of new modeling and analysis tools.
- Create technical data review and analysis briefings for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in RF/IR technology, signal processing algorithms, and modeling techniques.
- Document and present methodologies and model performance to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in physics, applied mathematics, data science, engineering, or a related field.
- Must have a mathematical background in linear algebra, differential equations, complex analysis, numerical methods, and statistics.
- Must have familiarity with electromagnetic theory, quantum mechanics, and fluid dynamics.
- Must have intermediate proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, C/C++, or a similar coding language for data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong presentation skills.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferred.
- Masters or PhD in physics, applied mathematics, data science, or engineering with relevant project experience, preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, C/C++, or a similar coding language for data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation, preferred.
- Familiarity with software version control and issue tracking, preferred.
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, JIRA, etc.), preferred.
- Experience with implementing linear or non-linear regression machine learning models, preferred.
- Experience with analyzing large datasets, preferred.
- Modeling and analysis experience in the characterization of adversary missile systems, preferred.
- Experience working with Linux systems, preferred.
- Familiarity with utilizing high-performance computing (HPC) environments for physics or mathematical simulations, preferred.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), preferred.
- Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.

- If the position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, the candidate must be able to obtain (by the start of the position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
- Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
- Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift.
- Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
