The Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a specialty in web development. This role requires expertise in Ruby on Rails and Vue.JS and extensive knowledge of programming, software architecture, design patterns, security, and optimization issues. Utilizing the methods above you will be responsible for the core development and customer support related issues.
Responsibilities
- Write quality code using Ruby on Rails and VueJS
- Scope, design, implement, and own end-to-end development
- Help architect core parts of our application from the ground up in a reliable way
- Create correct design patterns, optimization techniques
- Helping customers with their technical queries and some technical customer support
- Create secure and scalable technology architecture
What we are looking for
- 5+ years' experience in full-stack web development and building modern web/SaaS applications
- Expertise in several programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, Vue.JS
- Technical aptitude to quickly assimilate technical knowledge
- Strong computer science fundamentals and ability to write efficient algorithms
- Desire to grow your career within an agile and hungry environment
- Be a team player!
What you Posses
- 5+ years' experience in full-stack web development
- College degree (BA, BBA, BS); will consider relevant work experience if non-degreed
- Social: Outgoing, charismatic, naturally curious about people
- Confidence: Unfazed by challenges, stays calm under pressure
- Organized: Detail-oriented, disciplined and methodical
- Communication: ability to approach challenges with diplomacy and poise
