Systems Design Engineer

We are searching for a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer with a space company on Long Island, NY

This role will be groomed for Chief Engineer

You will be responsible for assessing and evaluating requirements. You will formulate system design concepts for designs of increasing complexity. You will also lead technical projects, monitor project scope, respond to engineering concerns, and support bid and proposal activities.

Qualifications

• Generally eight (8) years or more of experience in electro mechanical system design
• DC Motor design experience
• Mechanism design
• Prior experience with designing high reliability systems
• Advanced knowledge of electro mechanical systems
• DC Motor design
