Imperium3 New York, Inc. (iM3NY) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Controls Engineer. This position will join our engineering team to support the establishment and growth of our battery manufacturing facility.Imperium3 NY dba “iM3NY” is a startup Lithium Ion battery cell development and manufacturing company with HQ and high-volume manufacturing plant located in Endicott, NY. We have an advanced LMP cell that incorporates patented Bio Mineralization to create an industry leading BMLMP cell. We are well positioned for expansion in the future by a well-conceived product road map with advanced chemistry for Gen 2 and Gen 3 products that are in advanced stages of research and development.Job Duties:Lead automation and control efforts to develop and maintain battery facility and individual equipmentCo-develop and implement an industry 4.0 manufacturing execution system for battery cell manufacturingDesign and implement automation and controller improvements to existing equipmentInterface with OEMs and partners as the controls lead and liaisonMaintain equipment controllers, HMIs, and data collection including troubleshooting, repair, and long-term sustainmentQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
