Senior Motor Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are an electric motor manufacturing firm seeking a Senior Electrical Motor Design Engineer to lead engineering projects, support customer needs, and manage interns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review customer RFQs and recommend suitable motors from our portfolio.
• Improve and develop motor calculation tools with the software team.
• Transition specialty motors to production, create part numbers, and update AutoCAD drawings.
• Troubleshoot motor issues and update motor prints and performance data.
• Ensure product quality by collaborating with production and suppliers.
• Conduct market research for pump motors and explore new motor applications, including AC motors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in motor design. Proficiency in motor design, CAD, and simulation tools. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
