Overview
As a Principal Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building critical business planning features on the Salesforce platform. You will support the team to launch a new Incentives platform using Salesforce and continue developing, enhancing and implementing a fiscal planning application for internal operations and external suppliers to collaborate on. This product will set the basis for what program objectives are assigned to sales and what incentives are developed to support their execution.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of complex custom Salesforce based web applications.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and frameworks to improve the scope and quality of our platforms and portfolios, ensuring they meet market demands and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital engineering with the overall business strategy, contributing to the roadmap and vision of our digital product portfolios and platforms.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery from ideation through to deployment and maintenance, adhering to budget, scope, and quality standards.
- Implement "shift-left" practices in the development lifecycle, emphasizing early integration of security, performance optimization, and user experience design.
- Mentor and guide developers at all levels in Salesforce best practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Lead by example in adopting agile methodologies to ensure continuous improvement in processes and outputs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce based custom web application development.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript) and experience with RESTful services and APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically, and strong leadership qualities.
- Effective communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
