Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience is required.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The Quality Engineer will design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products. With a clear understanding of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards, you’ll have the opportunity to design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.

What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience is required
  • Clear understanding of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and ability to apply these and other relevant standards such as ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
  • Ability to clearly recognize and report information relevant to sound quality engineering in design and manufacturing
  • Skills to review relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques, evaluate and monitor complex manufacturing and test processes, and efficiently wade through technical documentation and make sense of it all, because you are simply a smart and driven common-sense person
  • Ability and willingness to dive deep and "sweat the details", yet also pull back and see the "big picture" too
  • Think logically and communicate clearly to analyze root causes of problems and help develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions 
  • An analytical mind, able to proficiently use tools such as MS-Excel to collect and process various kinds of product and process data to provide clarity and help solve problems
