Product Designer

Our higher education client in the technology space is looking for a Product Designer with 3+ years' experience for an immediate full time contract role. You'll be working across teams in design, product management, and engineering. The work will focus on producing detailed design documentation for product interface and experience, along with supporting the development process by answering questions and performing front-end quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Work in Figma and Whimsical executing from wireframes to high fidelity full featured specifications to clickable prototypes
• Produce supporting documentation such as design plans, annotations, and Jira tickets
• Manage deadlines for product design deliverables.
• Work across multiple departments to understand different needs
• Create and communicate effective user-centered design solutions—at all fidelities—with teammates and stakeholders, using flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

Looking for:

• 3+ years of commercial software experience design working within multidisciplinary teams under dynamic conditions
• Samples of previous work
• Experience designing technology-focused tool or learning environments, such as editors, configurators, and terminals
• Experience designing and prototyping in software industry standard tools
• A link to your work samples and explanations
• Ideally looking for SaaS or E-Learning experience
• Familiarity with general front-end technologies, for example CSS, Javascript, React, JSON (although this is not a coding role)
• Involvement in qualitative user research projects end-to-end, from recruiting through reporting
