We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join the Gestra US sales team. The successful candidate will ethically achieve sales targets to deliver profitable growth through providing differentiated value to our customers. Create sustainable partnerships with existing and potential customers across multiple target industry segments.
Some responsibilities may include:
- Provide new customers with a complete understanding of Gestra’s solutions that drives value for our customers and ourselves.
- Actively seek self-generated growth opportunities and generate sales volume.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through the development of territory, account, and call plans that expand priority sectors to achieve planned growth.
- Fully understand and comprehend Gestra’s Customer First Strategy.
- Present Gestra capabilities and the complete product offering to all stakeholders using professional presentations, lunch & learns, and other effective means.
- Identify and promote meaningful value that will improve the customer’s business.
- Utilize a consultative selling approach to uncover customer pains and gains to maximize value for the customer.
- Deploy Customer Value Propositions (CVP) to focus resources on identifying opportunities for and delivering value to the customer.
- Qualify customer potential for the release of new products and services.
- Participate in various networking group activities, professional organizations, and trade shows in order to develop new leads and customers.
- Maintain up-to-date records via Company I-Share Site and CRM System on opportunities, accounts, quotations, contacts, calls, and meetings to achieve periodic forecasts and goals.
- Manage leads and opportunity pipelines independently, and track conversion rates and win-loss reasons.
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Manager, Business Development Manager, and Industry Segment Leads on opportunities.
- Deliver technically and commercially innovative solutions aligned to resolve customer pain points.
- Be accountable for negotiating price and terms to close the full sales order value.
- Present compelling proposals of Gestra’s capabilities to deliver value-based solutions to the customer.
- Collaborate with the GOGC and Power Thrust Groups to assist in the complete product offering and design.
- Coordinate with all Gestra USA and Bremen GE internal departments to align resources to resolve customer needs and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and/or commensurate experience.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in business-to-business sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior proven track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability.
- Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, Outlook, and Salesforce.com.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Possess or ability to obtain TWIC Card and other safety council-related certifications.
