Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Key Responsibilities

1. Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Work with external data sources and APIs.
4. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
5. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
6. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
7. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
8. Mentor junior developers and assist in code reviews.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Senior Android Developer or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
5. Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
6. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
8. Familiarity with continuous integration.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience with Kotlin programming language.
3. Published at least one original Android app.
4. Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
5. Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
