Senior C# Developer (Azure)

ITTConnect is seeking a Senior C# Developer with Azure to join one of our clients, which is a major IT Consulting firm HQd in Europe, with offices in 15 countries and over 10k employees. They are experts in tailored IT Services to Banks, Insurance and other Financial vertical clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant environment at one of their accounts in Chicago. Job is hybrid (3/2), and will be interacting with a distributed team in the US, Europe, and Latin America.

Job Location: Chicago, IL 60601. Hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote on average.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in C# Programming: Extensive experience in developing, testing, and deploying applications using C#.
2. Understanding of .NET frameworks and .NET Core.
3. Azure Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure AI Search (formerly Azure Cognitive Search), Azure Logic Apps, Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD, critical), Azure API Management, Azure SQL, and other cloud-based solutions. Ability to design and implement cloud architectures.
4. Azure DevOps Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps services and tools. Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies. Familiarity with version control systems (like Git), build and release management, and automated deployment methodologies using Azure DevOps.
5. SQL and Database Management: Strong skills in SQL programming, database design, and management. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
6. API Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
7. Knowledge of Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks can be advantageous, though not always required.

Leadership and Project Management Skills:

1. Team Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.
2. Strategic Planning: Skill in aligning technological solutions with business objectives.
3. Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in communicating with various stakeholders, including technical teams, management, and clients.

Certifications and Education (Optional but Beneficial):
