Hardware Design Engineer

Our client, a leading player in the electronics industry, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join their team. As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Chiller Applications Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Location: New Freedom, Pennsylvania

Pay: $47/h + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain control boards using MPU/MCU and FPGA for chiller applications.
2. Design analog/digital interface and power supply circuits.
3. Perform worst-case circuit analysis to ensure reliability across environmental specifications.
4. Design and maintain PCBAs, including schematic and layout, using industry-standard tools.
5. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and assist with product sustainment.

Requirements

1. BSEE or BSCE, or related field; minimum of 5 years of experience.
2. Strong understanding of MPU/MCU and circuit design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics).
3. Experience with PCB design and worst-case analysis techniques.
4. Familiarity with signal integrity tools and programmable logic (FPGA).
5. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
