Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Clearwater, FL
Salary: $70-80K

Job Scope: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on commercial site development and permitting, including site layout, stormwater, utilities, and access management design.
Job Duties May Include:
- Develop construction plans for civil/site land development projects
- Perform drainage design calculations, including computer modeling
- Perform utility design calculations, including computer modeling
- Independently manage completion of technical tasks in accordance with established project schedules
- Ensure technical accuracy and appropriate documentation of engineering projects, including report writing
- Perform QA/QC of project deliverables, including plans and reports
- Provide guidance and oversight to Junior technical staff
Requirements:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- ICPR
- WaterCAD
- Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science required ideally in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within the first year of employment
- 3+ years’ experience in civil/site land development projects.
- Experience with Master Planned Community developments is preferred
