About The Role
Come join a team dedicated to enterprise transformation. The Cloud Platform Team is developing a repeatable methodology to drive transformation within our enterprise environments and accelerate AWS adoption. The complexities associated with the enterprise require a higher touch experience that assures efforts across numerous business units and geographies are both scalable and consistent.
The Principal Cloud Platform Engineer is at the center of scaling delivery, ensuring teams follow a unified process, can coordinate large scale deployments and projects, and is measured in their approach to coach others to lead the AWS adoption.
What You’ll Do
- Govern a secure, compliant multi-account AWS environment.
- Automate account provisioning workflow and guardrails to maintain compliance.
- Automate compliance by building remediations for standard security policies.
- Maintain automation as products in AWS Service Catalog to enable self-service.
- Leverage Cloud APIs to build custom resource types for CloudFormation using AWS Lambda.
- Adhere to strict continuous integration and continuous delivery practices to manage automation products.
- Maintain documentation of solution design, decision records, and standard operating procedures.
- Mentor, train, and enable engineers to follow high quality engineering practices.
What You’ll Need
- Experience managing AWS accounts at scale.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation & AWS Service Catalog.
- Experience with TypeScript & AWS Lambda.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Empathy, transparency, and a good sense of humor.

What You Have (Qualifications)
- Master's degree in a related field or any STEM eligible degree.
- AWS certified solutions architect associate.
- 8+ years of experience in agile software development.
- 5+ years of experience working in a cloud environment.
